My husband lost his job on 8/30/2013 after 30 years working with patients at a Veteran’s Hospital.

At first there was fear, then I went to the chapel and prayed to God and our Blessed Mother that by staying in the moment we will get through this journey together. I began to think what a Blessing that I have a job I love and carry all the families benefits. I began to feel empowered and do my best to support my husband and yet calm my own anxiety.

My 17 y.o. daughter is a Senior in High School and there were many costs for SAT exams and College next year. On one salary for right now, I am accepting waivers to assist her through these fees.

Well it has been a few weeks and I received a $1000 bonus memo that will be coming in Oct. and side work has brought cash in and now the Union and a Union lawyer will be representing my husband to, God willing, either get another job within the same company, but trusting it is all gonna be okay!!!!

Staying in the moment and trusting and practicing through a positive attitude which I have always believed in. The Secret, The Magic and The Power all so beautifully empowering that this too shall pass.

Today is the gift and now is the present! Believe achieve and you shall receive. Baby steps and knowing that when one door closes another one opens and be open to all the lessons and blessings through this journey.
