I was introduced to The Secret while I was still in high school.

My brother read the book and then excitedly told me I had to read it, too. He said it would confirm some things we had already knew but would also change some of the other thoughts we have. I read the book and was amazed at how powerful positive thinking could be. At first, I am sure like a lot of people who read it, I was skeptical. I did not think it could be THAT easy. Because I doubted The Secret I still tried to maintain a positive lifestyle, but needless to say, nothing that I truly wanted came to be.

I have been living on my own for a few years now and I felt like I should be able to live the life that I truly would enjoy. I decided to read The Secret, The power, and The Magic. I have always wanted to be a bank teller, so I asked the universe for this job because I am not happy with my current one.

While I was on vacation I received 2 calls from two different banks asking me for interviews! I was so excited! I had been trying for over 2 years to get a bank teller job and no luck, now I had 2 interviews scheduled for the same day!

The first interview was the best job I could imagine, my perfect job! Great starting pay, great hours, benefits, etc. And I truly felt the interview went really well. I knew that was my job.

The second interview went well, but I did not feel as connected to it as I had the first interview. I received a call from the second bank a few days later telling me I did not get the job. This did not make me feel sad though, but the job I knew was mine, had not contacted me yet. Well, it’s been almost a month since that interview and I still have not heard from the first bank – my dream job.

I am writing this story with the confidence and faith that the reason I have yet to be contacted is for reasons I don’t know, but that I will be getting a call soon telling me I got the job!!

I know this is The Secret working because I have not had this luck in over 2 years of searching! And I had 2 interviews on the same day?!? WOW!
