Fabulous Interview
Submitted by: Lorenzo P.
London, EnglandHello! I am a student at Lambeth college in London studing a level 3 Btec Business course. I am 17 years old and read The Secret for the first time (now a million times) about a year ago and it has totally changed my life!
This story starts one day before the start of my current course interview, and to be honest I was bricking it; but I had some hope because I had read The Secret and was using it everyday.
Anyway during the afternoon the day before the interview I was geing my stuff ready to take to the interview the following day, and I was looking at my GCSE results again for no apparent reason because I knew them all off-by-heart anyway; but I had an intuitive feeling I should look at them more closely and when I did I noticed that I seemed to have one more A-C grade than I previously had. So I looked again and pinched myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. In total I now had four GCSE grade A-C, but I still needed one more GCSE A-C grade for the requirement of the course I wanted to do; so I used the law of attraction and saw myself shaking hands with my interviewer becasue I got accepted.
Tomorrow had arrived and I was optimistic and trusted the Law of Attraction and was comforting myself by saying “I am so happy that they accepted me now”, and “Don’t worry, just be yourself and everything will be fine- you are only missing one GCSE grade anyway”.
Alas it was time for my interview and I spoke to my interviewer still being myself and all; and I said to him “I know I don’t have the minimum requirements for this course but I still really want to do it, and I am very motivated and think I can do it”. And he said to me “what do you mean that you don’t have the minimum requirements to do this course? You have four GCSE A-C don’t you?” I replied “Yes”. He then said “Well the minimum requirement was lowered last night to four A-C GCSE grades”.
Wow that was totally amazing!!!!!!!! So at the moment I am enjoying my life using the LOA and enjoying my course that I wanted. I hope I have inspired you, to inspire others.
