First of, I would like to say that I am truly grateful to Rhonda and The Secret team for letting us all experience the power of asking, believing and receiving.
I learned about The Secret book through my sister who brought home one, which she borrowed from a friend. One day, I took it with me at work and read only the part on The Secret process of asking, believing and receiving. I even made a simple practice which just right after a few minutes manifested. So I told myself, “aahhh this one works!”. But I have not read the whole book after that and even totally forgot about it until one of my close friends from work introduced it to me again. I read the whole book and started practicing its principles. Things suddenly changed. I started to enjoy going to work and started to enjoy assisting clients-even irate clients.

I feel more energetic and positive towards everything that even my friends noticed that I am such a happy person.

After a few more years, our company’s management decided to do some restructuring on the company and our whole department was laid off. We were all out of job and no idea where to go. When everyone else was fearful, I felt differently. I looked at the situation as an opportunity to get an even better job wherein we will all grow as individuals. I believed and taught my friends to think positively on the situation and one by one we all got the job that we wished for at some time. But things still get rough for me as I seem to not be able to stay in one company because the job doesn’t really make me happy. I thought about it and realized that it was me who has the problem. I was not sure at all what I wanted to really do. I started to feel low and started to hate my job and no shifters or visualization or “secret-ing” can change what I was feeling.

I started reading The Magic and tried to follow the exercises but still it won’t work. I had enough so I decided to find a new job…any job that would “save” me from the job that I had at that moment. The new job came and I was happy. It was a job that I was also wishing for and a job I thought what I wanted. Months passed and I realized it is still not what I want. So I finally decided to get a pen and paper and really think- what do I want to do?! So I started writing everything- the new job, the location, the salary, the benefits-everything. And then I practiced visualization and every day I feel grateful for the new job. Nothing happened for the next few weeks. One day I decided to check on the websites of the companies that I want to work for. And then suddenly I decided to check on this one company that I never and I mean NEVER checked on because I hear rumors that their standards are too high and they only hire people who speak their language (which is a foreign language to me). But then I decided to check and there- an opening that suits my abilities and my qualifications and they do not require that the applicant is speaking their language. I decided to apply and after a week they sent me an email inviting for me an interview. I literally cried tears of joy upon receiving that interview invitation and I thanked the Universe for it. I knew at that moment that it is already for me and given to me. I have gone through the interview a few days ago and is just waiting for the results but I am feeling very positive that I will be selected for the job.
