I like to call myself a realist, so The Secret did not make much sense to me and I was quite skeptical about it. However, I decided to try it out anyway…

(It is amazing how many things have happened to me in the last 6 months, and I am so grateful!)

I could never understand how cheques would come in the mail if I am not actually expecting anything. Two weeks later I got a letter with a cheque for $550 as a result of my health fund merging with another fund. Then I got a voucher for $20 from a spa salon as part of their promo.

I also thought it would be good to get a new laptop. Possibly Apple, possibly MacAir. Two weeks later I walked into my bank branch and saw a competition where they were giving out a MacAir every week for the next 3 months!!

I wanted to change jobs but was not sure what industry to apply for and exactly what I wanted to do. Two to three weeks later a friend of mine called telling me there was a position open in a bank where he was working.

I had money stolen 3 months ago and the bank told me they would not reimburse the amount, however I was so sure I was getting the money back, so I wrote them a letter and this morning they called me to say the money will be in my account tomorrow.

So the message is: don’t think, don’t try to understand, just enjoy the ride!
