I read The Secret book and then I decided to test it.

In the center of Vienna, there were no parking places available, I decided to believe that I would park exactly in front of the place that I was going to. And each time I did that, I got the parking space I wanted. I proved it to my family all the time. I said we are going to park on that street in the second space. I believed it and it happened. I did not only say which street I would park on, but I also would say exactly what parking space was going to be ours, and it would happen.

So I went further and I started to guess the amount of revenue we generated. A year ago for New Years’, I said to my sister that I believe that we will generate exactly 4,004 Euros in one day. On a normal day, it would be 1,200 to 1,500 Euros maximum. At the end of the day, I called my sister and counted the money. It was not 4,003 Euros or 4,010, it was exactly 4,004! It scared me so much but I knew what the amount would be!

The question is this; do I know what is going to happen or where a parking space will be free, or does it really happen because it is what I believe in. I don’t know.
