I discovered The Secret and the law of attraction about two years ago. It was a very alien concept to me and my cynical, ‘academic’ brain struggled with the concept. I had suffered very badly with my mental health, specifically severe depression and anxiety. I had experienced spending long periods of time unable to get out of bed. My health made holding down a job incredibly hard and I was earning very little money.

Then a few months ago, the law of attraction and The Secret were brought back into my life. It has taken me a long time to retrain my mind into this positive way of being. However, I fully committed to doing it, journaling every day, and paying close attention to my thoughts and feelings.

I was living with my partner but it was putting a strain on our relationship, as I craved my own space. I moved out and lodged with a friend. That was less than comfortable but better because I needed that alone time. I asked the Universe for a few things. I asked for my dream apartment. I asked for the opportunity to set up my own business running a mobile barbershop. I asked for the best possible facilities to run my equine rehabilitation business from. I asked for enough money to pay all my bills easily with enough left over for buying the luxuries I wanted. I felt it. I knew it was mine already. And my goodness did the Universe deliver!

I now own and live in a beautiful apartment in the center of town that I am able to share with the people I love. I moved my horses to the perfect facility, which came up totally out of the blue. I received all the things that were necessary to convert a trailer and set up my mobile barbershop. I am also now earning five figures a month through a couple of different streams of income. I am so grateful for all that I have and for all that I have learned. I really am literally living my dream life! My relationship is better than ever and I am heading towards the new year in the best position imaginable.

This stuff really does work! If you can keep focused and if you can be consistent, you can have whatever you want!!
