It was always, always, always on my wish list to go to New York City. I had been to America many times before but I never went to NYC.

About a month and a half ago, I started having this dying urge or a sense of urgency to go to NYC and live it up completely. But I did not want to go alone. I kept trying to convince all my friends to go but no one was agreeing. I lost heart and thought may be when the time is right it will happen and I should not fret.

I created a vision board with pictures of NYC on it. And started dreaming about being there, imagining myself there.

In the following few days I accidentally kept meeting people who had once lived in NYC and have now moved to London and they kept talking highly about that city. Later I went to Rome for a holiday and I kept seeing posters of NYC everywhere. And every time I met new people or saw the posters I kept thanking the universe. I felt as if it was a sign.

After a month or so I had totally let go of the trip because I didn’t find any suitable company to go with to NYC. And then suddenly, one day my childhood friend from Chicago called up and said she was going with her family and I should join them. I thought that last minute tickets might be expensive but the tickets were cheaper than usual. I was fretting about hotel cost and another friend offered her place to live in. My other friends who are now living in NYC reached out to me and started making plans for me during out my stay.

And voila!! It’s done. I am going to NYC next week. Thank you universe for making my dream cons true.
