I had a German Shepherd dog growing up; his name was Bundy. He was a great dog and we had him for about 13 years. When I was 16, we had to put Bundy down due to serious health issues.
Soon after, I began longing for that type of relationship again. Being only 16, living at home (and all that goes with it), the decision was not mine, it was my parents’. Their decision was a firm “no.”
For years now I have been having those feeling with increasing consistency: I wanted a dog of my own. Since discovering The Secret, I finally attracted my little dog into my life and he is absolutely everything I asked for. He is a very unusual mix that makes him uniquely beautiful and smart. He is quiet, well trained and has a heart of gold – just like I asked for.
In the days leading to his adoption, his collar (which I had hanging on the rear view mirror of my car) was constantly attracting light that would dance around the car, or it would clink against the bracelet that also hangs there – I knew he was coming. That collar now sits on the neck of my perfect little pooch.
I credit The Secret entirely for bringing Drake into my life. Sometimes I am moved to tears at the love I have found in him and that he gives back to us.
