The past few years had been stressful. It was 2016 and I had given up my rights as a parent. I had struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I had ended a relationship. I had been physically, sexually, and emotionally abused. I had above average stress when I was introduced to The Secret. I was afraid that I could have a heart attack. I did not understand how to be optimistic, grateful, or think positive. However, I believe the Universe met me halfway. As The Secret documentary mentioned, a positive thought is much more affirmative than a negative one! I simply started watching the documentary and before long I had a few books that explained the law of attraction. I figured that quantum physics, the science behind it all, made sense. Yes, I was very sceptical, however, I had some curiosity and nothing to lose! I started saying out loud the one thing I really wanted! At that time, in 2016, I wanted to travel and take a vacation.

So I said out loud each night, “It is my intention to take a vacation. I want a trip somewhere to relax and have fun. If this is for the highest good of all, then this and other doors will open up for me!”.

It was January 2016 and a friend of mine mentioned that he was trying to get in as a vendor at a well known music festival. I didn’t know much about it. It had been years since I traveled, and at that time I still felt angry and depressed. However, I still put as much faith in the Universe as I could. Again, even though everything was up in the air and the festival was not until July, I said my intentions out loud. “Universe, it is my intention to go to The Gathering Music Festival. If this is for the highest good of all involved, then this door, or something better will open up for me!” Then, I would imagine myself camping out, dancing, and relaxing. I saw myself making friends and sitting around talking with others I had met.

In July 2016 I received a phone call three days before the festival to pack my bags and to be ready the next morning. The Universe had met me halfway. Now, my faith in The Secret grew.

I have continued to use The Secret since then. I am 33, and I never took horse riding lessons. A year ago I wanted to learn but I had no money. I also wanted to travel more and play an instrument. I adore music. I wanted to play the cello or piano, if not both!
I set my intentions. And, I started a meditation practice where I visualized playing cello, piano, and riding horses. For the travel I used the same words I used for the music festival. I am excited to say that my wishes have been all answered!

I was gifted a keyboard by my spiritual mother. On top of that, I have a dedicated account from my early youth where I was on SSI. I was able to request a cello for music therapy. It will be delivered in time for my 34th birthday. I intend to take lessons if it is for the highest good of all involved! Also, I joined a church and some classes through a local community organization. Through my church and a class, I met a woman who owns horses. I will be riding this summer, and she has even offered to allow me to help take care of them. And, in May, I am going to Tennessee to be with some good friends. We will be taking a side trip to Memphis, and to New Orleans!

I am not done yet! My fiance and I have had a boon to our income! He received a job which will help us see Memphis and New Orleans! All this, was quite random. It was not just planned. The law of attraction is very real. I am pleased to say that I am no longer a sceptic. I am a believer. I am also healthy and happy. Thank you, Universe!
