Dean’s List Certificate.

Hargeisa, SomalilandI am a male student. I enrolled in 2005 in an Engineering program at Multimedia University in Malaysia.
I had read an exciting book, The Psychology of Achievement By Brian Tracy. It was in 2004. I felt really energetic to change my life according to that book. So, I went on to the university in Malaysia in June 2005. Multimedia University accepted my eligibility of admission. It was a very tough university in terms of education. They have one year foundation studies prior to going into the degree program of 4 years. My classmates were all international students except for a few students whom were Indonesians. We had to take five courses in the first semester and most of them had a laboratory in which we did experiments. I was the oldest student in the class. My age was 24 years old in 2005.
My goal is to achieve being on the Dean’s List Certificate which required a minimum score of 3.75 based on our commutative grade point (CGP). I wrote down on paper that I would get a 4.00. The most important part of what I did was that I would visualize myself getting the certificate from the Director of the Foundation Studies in front of all the students. I would do this every night prior to going to sleep in my bed. I did it for a prolonged period.
Thus, what happened at the end of the semester when the final results came out? I got a 3.92 out of 4.00. I even outperformed the most talented students. So, that is my story. Thank you!
