I was lucky enough to be selected to go on the programme Deal or No Deal, and before I went, I printed off a blank cheque, sat it at my table and decided what I needed to pay off debt, get a car and holiday, and give the kids some money. I wrote a cheque for £75,000 and took the cheque with me and put in my hotel room.

And yes, I won £75,000.
