Dad’s Wallet Came Back

IndiaOriginally an over thinker who took life too seriously. Now a grateful, positive and hardcore believer!
My father had travelled to Japan alone on a business trip for about 5 days. It wasn’t the first time, and as always, apart from work, he took some time to meet friends. Upon returning to the hotel one evening, he realized that his wallet was missing. He had been on a crowded train that day and felt that he might have lost it to a pick-pocket or even dropped it while going to meet his friend.
The wallet had his ID, credit cards, Indian currency as well as Japanese Yen for his trip. Since he only had 2 more days in Japan, he wouldn’t even have time to follow up on the issue. He informed the hotel and various other resources that might have been able to locate his wallet, but to no avail. He returned to India without his wallet two days later. He was so upset that he had forgotten to inform the bank about blocking his cards. And he couldn’t even drive to work till he had the time to get a new driver’s license.
However, as soon as I heard about the incident, I sent a message of gratitude to the Universe for returning his wallet to him. It seemed unlikely as he had no idea where he might have misplaced it and the fact that it was in another country! Yet, we went on with our lives as if nothing was wrong.
And guess what?!
Three days after he got back to India, the hotel in Japan called up his office to inform them that they had found his wallet! They sent it back to him, with all the money, cards and id intact!
