Ok so a year ago (November ’09) my Mum came to me with a book called The Secret. She had read it around 6 months before and told me to read it and believe in it but at the time I was very skeptical, but agreed. I read the book and thought it’s not going to hurt me to try it, so I started using The Secret.

BANG, my life completely changed. I was working with a relative for a pittance a day and work began to slow down due to the ‘recession’ so I was only working 3 days a week. This didn’t even cover my bills let alone taking my wonderful girlfriend out and seeing my mates. As I said earlier my mum gave me The Secret at the beginning of November and at the start of December I started a new job which came about after bumping into an old friend in the pub one day. That got me thinking about The Secret. Was it using The Secret that had done this for me or just coincidence?

Then I decided I wanted more money and straight away another friend of mine offered me a job. It was working away for five months during the summer and earning an absolute fortune. This doubled my annual salary. Then I decided I wanted a van and just so happened to be on facebook and a friend I met in college wrote, “Who wants to buy my van 300 quid?” I picked it up the following night.

From the beginning of the summer I said to myself, “I’m going to have enough money to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend, a holiday for the both of us and a new van”. I got back from the summer work and bought a beautiful platinum ring, may I just add it was a lot cheaper than it was in the catalog because for some reason the lady in the shop gave it to me for next to nothing. I took my girlfriend to Italy for a week where she said, “YES” and I picked my new van up beginning of December.

So let’s recap: In one year I’ve got 2 jobs I love to do, and earn a lot of money doing, a beautiful fiancé, 2 new vans and in April next year I’ll have my house. I haven’t even got the deposit yet but I’m not even worried, I’ll easily have enough and more.

It’s not just the fact I’m more happy than I’ve ever been it’s the fact everyone around me is happy as well.
