I only saw The Secret for the first time five days ago. I immediately set out to apply it as I was in desperate circumstances having been laid off of work suddenly with no warning. I adopted a positive attitude and feeling, as much as I could.
I was in town looking for a parking spot for a full 25mins, round and round a parking lot. Finally fed up I demanded with real force that I have a parking space big enough for my over sized car. I rounded a corner and in front of me there were two gentleman blocking the road, just standing there talking. One having parked his scooter right in the middle of the road in order to converse with the other. Well, there was no way I could pass around them and sat in my car mentally willing them to move with a glare or two flung their way. They took no notice of me and I was just about to get out of the car and let them know politely how inconvenient they were being, when I glanced behind me for no reason at all. Directly behind me a car was just about to pull out from the perfect spot for my oversized car. I seized the moment and reversed quickly, allowing him to pull out, and got my space. I then glanced back at the two road blocking men and they had gone. I laughed because the universe had brought about exactly what I wanted in such a strange way and I was grateful to those men who blocked the road as I would never have got that space otherwise.

Then I went to pay my landlord my rent and was told that I only needed to pay half of it…an extra $1,000 in my pocket.

I now understand that this was the power I had used to quit smoking six months ago when I thought I would die from it. I had spent a few minutes several times a day ‘feeling like a non smoker’ as I was desperate to quit and my health was declining rapidly. I took the first step and quit, expecting it to be terrible, expecting to fail, but it was unbelievably easy. My determination to be a ‘non smoker’, my visualization and feeling put into it, outweighed my negative feelings regarding it. Now I am a non smoker and grateful every day for it. The Secret showed me what I had done then, and therefore I knew it worked and could see where I had used this power before in my life. I am every day grateful that I had the sudden inspiration to put this previously unwatched DVD on at exactly the moment I needed it most in my life.
