Clients walk in the door
This story starts back in November/December. I was having a sales slump – partially because I had been out of town for a week and partially because I got sick after the trip. Still, even as I felt better, my sales were down and it looked like I wasn’t going to earn a trip I was trying for all year.
I already knew about the Law of Attraction but wasn’t actively applying it at this time. I started talking to my sister about how I wasn’t happy with where my sales were and how I might miss the trip. She started laughing because I’m the one who was always telling her that you get whatever you spend time and energy on. And here I was focusing on what I didn’t want and how bad my sales were.
This conversation reminded me that I have control over my life by way of control over my thoughts. So, of course, thinking about the Law brought more of the Law into my life. Later that day, one of my friends calls and tells me about The Secret.
I watched it immediately. WOW! This took my understanding of the law and brought it to a whole new level. I immediately started to visualize my perfect client and that they were walking into my office and asking me to help them. I also started a gratitude log where I wrote down when good things happened and gave thanks for them.
This was on a Saturday. The next week I had the best week I’d had in over 2 months and it was all from people calling me and from referrals – and this was the week before Christmas when sales are usually slow. The next week was the same.
Normally we clean the office and get ready for the new year during the week between Christmas and New Years because business is so slow. This year we were swamped with business.
So, did I make the trip? Yep – I needed 46,000 “points” to qualify and I ended the year with 46, 011.
I’ve been visualizing and being grateful since and I’ve started the year with the strongest sales ever.
