I have been playing with The Secret To Money app on and off for about a year now, and things have gradually improved. My husband got a pay raise in January and it was backdated. In April, a family member started to gift us £500 a month for this year, to help us clear down some debts after I lost my job last year. Whilst I was working, I was not making a big enough wage, so we only had £300 a month spare to buy food, put fuel in the car, or do anything else. Whilst we did our best to be grateful for that, it was never enough and always stressful, in case anything went wrong.

A few weeks after they started giving us the money, I found a job that I wanted to apply for, and 2 months later, I started! This job has a higher salary than the job I lost last year and I enjoy it far more!

We started being able to pay a few things off and are starting to reduce our debt, which was great!

Last month, my husband needed new tires and an oil change for his car, and out of the blue, his Mum gave him £500 which covered the work that needed doing.

It’s my birthday this month, and I really want to have a couple of days by the sea, so on Saturday morning, I said “Universe, I could really do with an extra £200 this month please”.

Later that day, I saw my Mom, and she unexpectedly gave me £100 as a treat! And today, I got a cheque for £407! It had to do with an old credit card. So old that the cheque is in my maiden name, so I will have to take it to the bank and ask them to cash it for me!

I do not think I would have believed this if it hadn’t happened to me!
