Hello!

My name is Marionna and I’m a 17 year old from Italy. Before I begin, please excuse me for my mistakes in this language, my mother tongues are Bulgarian and Italian and I don`t speak English all that much. : )

For the longest time, I felt like I was trapped in a box and I couldn’t get out. Sometimes I would literally beat myself up and I had bruises on my arms. It was horrible! This had been happening since I was quite young and I was crying every night, wishing and hoping for a change.

One day I had discovered The Secret by chance. I was on the internet and came across an interesting review about this magical book. The next day while I was riding my bike and passed by a small book store in the old part of town, in the shop window there it was… The Secret! I decided to buy it and read the entire book that evening; I think this book has the same impact on many people who read it, it’s that powerful. For the first time in a long time I felt so empowered and liberated. I could finally see that before I had let thoughts of what I should do and be dictate my life. I felt so powerless and this was showing up in every area of my life. Then and there I decided that I would listen to my inner voice, even if it led me astray the first few times, because doing so gave me a sense of peace which couldn’t be replaced by anything else.

The part where Rhonda discussed her ideal weight struck a cord with me, because I knew I hadn’t been at my ideal weight for a long time. The next day I found a book about intuitive eating, which is about eating anything you want and not gaining any weight! I started to eat intuitively, not restricted to any diet or eating “rules”. My relationship with food became greatly healed and I began to eat the foods I truly loved and craved. And guess what? I began to eat like I did when I was a child, never gaining weight! Today I am 58 kilos, and at 170 cm, this weight feels perfect for me!

When I changed this part of my life, other areas began to improve too. My relationships with my friends and family strengthened and now I even have a boyfriend who I love very much. : ) My grades in school are excellent, and I now have a real interest in my studies! Other really great things too, like going to a concert that I had been DYING to see, have happened ever since I discovered The Secret!

I can’t thank you enough Rhonda for publishing this book! Sometimes all you need is to change one area of your life and the others will change by themselves. : ) Be kind to yourself and love and forgive yourself for all of the mistakes you’ve made in the past and everything will get better.
