Norco, CaliforniaHello, My name is Sidney and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently pursuing my dream of becoming a professional horseback rider which would have never happened if I was not told to read The Secret.
Hello,
My name is Sidney Pleiss, and I was raised in the small Southern California town of Norco. I have been very fortunate to grow up with horses in my life, successfully riding in both English and Western disciplines. I have always dreamed of becoming a Grand Prix Show jumper. A few months ago, I was given The Secret. That day my life changed. I knew exactly what to do to start making my dreams into a reality. So I began following the steps I read and that’s when I came across a life changing opportunity. I took a position as a working student for a phenomenal Grand Prix rider. A Grand Prix rider is one of the elite horse show jumpers. This amazing woman has been to the World Cup finals twice so far, and is now training me to show on the Grand Prix circuit.
In exchange for my riding lessons, I live on the property and work an average of 12 hours a day. My daily chores revolve around the multiple horses on the property and include cleaning stalls, feeding, grooming, therapies, cleaning tack, setting fences and any other projects that may arise. I also go on the road to horse shows where I perform these same duties in addition to show grooming for clients and the Grand Prix horses. I am putting everything I have into building the foundation to become a well-rounded professional equestrian.
While I do this for the love of the horses, I realize that this industry is a business and requires additional skills. To ensure my future success, I am also attending college and currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in business. Juggling school and training, I have worked hard to maintain a 3.5 GPA. My degree will enable me to one day setup and run a successful show barn of my own.
None of this would at all be possible if I never read The Secret. It’s because of this life changing book that I am on my way to becoming the equestrian I’ve dreamt of.
