I’m a gun collector and hobbyist. For years I have been wanting a particular model that is somewhat rare. A Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX .50AE. Found most commonly in movies but almost never amongst friends or at a casual target range. It was always something I would see and wish for.

I, at some point, got into my head that it would cost me roughly $1300.00. I decided now was the time to stretch a little thin financially and just get it. When I went to my regular firearms dealer I was told the price was $1637.00. It was suddenly out of my price range. I kept looking and believing that I was right when I was thinking $1300. I focused on getting it for the price I envisioned.

I found another dealer for $1451 and went back to my regular shop and asked what could be done. I was told nothing was possible.

For days and days I deliberated, all the while focusing on the initial price to complete this stage of my collection. I finally went back to the original dealer, when the owner got back into town. I’ve known this man for about 4 years and have purchased many items from him before. I sat down and he offered me $1550 as a price. “Still too much, I told him” and thought that was to be the end of it. Moment before he closed his shop for the day, I said “Tony, I want this badly. I need a firm number.” He grabbed his calculator, punched numbers frantically and said, “How about this plus tax and shipping?” He showed me the calculator and it said $1230.00. We totaled everything to be $1335.50 and made the sale.

This was the first time I truly believed and applied The Secret to my life and it showed an immediate payoff.
