I was introduced to The Secret 10 years ago by an attorney. He must have seen how little I believed in myself and suggested I pick up a copy. I can’t remember when I bought a copy after that conversation, but I remember how I felt after reading it. Like the majority of people on here; I realized I had in fact been practicing The Secret my whole life. I could think of anything and it would happen. I just didn’t realize I was the one in control. I studied the book for sometime then let it go.

Between 2011 and 2016 one bad thing after another happened. My marriage broke up, my vehicle was repossessed, my father and dog died within months of each other. My husband and I did reconcile in 2012, but things continued on a downhill race until 2016.

Finally, in October of 2016 I regenerated my knowledge of The Secret. Everything changed for the better and continues to this day. Our financial status has recovered, we are happier than we have ever been. Most recently my husband was accepted for a job at the state University here. We both have been using The Secret faithfully since 2016. The big deal about this job is that my husband was burning both ends and was unhappy. His old job was killing him from the inside out. He had applied for one job after another with no luck. Then one day he was finally called in to interview. He had 4 interviews, then it was silence for a week. After that week of no word we just kept believing and telling ourselves he got the job. And he did.

The other part of this is that on my wish list I wished that my sons’ college education would be paid for 100%. Now it is! That is one of the perks of my husband’s new job. My son had a May 1, 2019 deadline to accept at this University. My husband received his offer call on April 29 2019. This was stressful at times, but we kept believing and acting as if. Anytime I start to stress I say, “So what. You will be OK and everything works out for my good”.
