Burnout

Dec 07 2007:
It is a Friday. I can go home at 3:30 pm. It has been a long week. My back is always sick. I have to do work for me and for her. It is 6:45 pm I am still at work.
8:00 pm: I arrived home. My head is still at work. Stress is killing me. I cannot continue like this.
Dec 10 2007:
I call in sick. 3 days without sleeping. I am having panic attacks about losing my job, my health, my mental stability. I am crying like a baby, I am very afraid.
Dec 11 2007:
8:00 am: I get a doctors appointment. On Dec 13 the doctor can see me.
4:00 pm: My friend Edgar comes to see me. He brings a present, a book, “The Secret”
Dec 13 2007:
Still at home, no more than 3 hours per night of sleeping. I am very stressed and very depressed.
9:30 am: My doctor says that I have burnout symptoms and I get a letter to a Psychologist, and strong sleeping pills. My doctor recommends me to start looking for another job. Yeah right, so easy to say, of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4:00 pm : I am at home. I uploaded my resume via internet.
Dec 14 2007:
I am reading the book, I am starting to visualize my new job.
10:00 am: I get a phone call, an employment agency. The invited me for an interview, the same day if possible. I accepted.
2:00 pm: I am having my interview. The person mentions the vacancy at a very prestigious Dutch company on Dec 19. I start visualizing myself as a worker of this company.
Dec 17 2007:
I go back to my work. I am feeling great, much better. Thinking positive, accepting myself as the employee of the other company. I visualize the moment when I give my resignation letter.
Dec 19 2007:
8:30 am: I am sitting in front of my interviewers. 2 persons; a manager, a Human resources employee.
11:00 am: A total of 4 people have interviewed me already. I go back to my office. I visualize myself at my new job, accepted.
5:30 pm: My cellular phone rings. THE JOB IS MINE. On the same day I got the answer. Better salary, better future.
Dec 20 2007:
8:00 am: I hand out my resignation letter.
