I found my passion a few years ago – singing and writing songs. I love it, except I always had a hard time trying to find an audience to sing in front of. I went to a music camp, and I decided that the next year, when I attended it, I would sing at one of the evening concerts.

I found The Secret when I was at the edge of my dreams – when I was about to give up. The only thing that was keeping my dreams alive was my visualising – I have such a strong sense, and the feelings I get are absolutely indescribable. I would always visualise myself on a stage, and the amazing buzz I get from a performance. I found The Secret, and it was like a comforting hug. It is incredible, to get the comfort from The Secret, knowing that everything will be alright.

I used The Secret when I went to music camp, and it was four days of pure magic. Not only did I sing at an evening concert, I also got to record two of my original songs in a basic recording studio at the camp!!! The two songs were featured in the final concert night, and at the end of the camp, as I was saying goodbye to everyone, one of the teachers came up to me and asked for my permission to give a copy of my CD to all of the other teachers.

After the camp, the whole buzz inside me lasted for a whole week. I was positive, and would always make sure I felt good before I got out of bed every morning. Nobody at my school, except for the people that went to the camp, knew that I could sing or write songs. My best friend told all of my friends that I had a recorded CD, and so I gave them all a sample. They all said I was amazing, and that gave me the best feeling, as for the past few years I had been hiding my passion from them.

One of my awesome friends loved the two songs so much that she played them in a drama lesson at school, and everyone in that class was amazed. My drama teacher now has a copy of the CD, along with other students. Everyone was coming up to me and saying that I was a wonderful singer, because my CD had spread through the school like a case of lice. The best bit is that one of the students who is also a singer gave me applications for a performing company. I was so excited when I got the applications, and was so grateful of how far The Secret had taken me.

I went to the audition, and got into the performing company by two wide-eyed judges. During one of our first meetings, I was getting a lot of greetings from people that were at music camp. They all had recognised me as the girl who recorded and sung original songs. The coordinator of the performing company was curious, so I performed my two songs along with a few other ones I had written, and she loved them. She loved them so much that she considered slotting it into one of the big performances the company does each year. The coordinator also gave me a solo singing performance, which is unbelievable because all of the other soloists are way older than me.

The Secret is an amazing phenomenon, and by using it, all of this happened in the space of three months.
