I want to express my immense gratitude to Rhonda and The Secret team for writing the book The Secret. I also want to say thank you to the Lord and the Universe for all the wonderful things in my life.

I discovered “The Secret” about 8 or 9 months ago, and although I practiced it intermittently, I always maintained belief in and gratitude for everything in my life.

Here’s my story: I wanted to attend a fabulous event coming up on the weekend. I had already booked my travel but had not secured accommodation. For two evenings, I searched for hotels near the venue, but they were all very expensive, making it difficult as I did not want to stay too far away. On the third night, after hours of searching and with the event only days away, I took a break from looking at my laptop to go outside for some fresh air. I gazed at the clear starry sky and asked God and the Universe to provide me with a hotel close to the venue for £120. I also expressed my belief and gratitude, saying, “I believe you can do it, thank you, thank you, thank you.”

When I went back to my laptop after about half an hour, I found a hotel that I had previously seen priced at £265, now offered at a special rate of £108, plus tax, totaling £130. Amazingly, the hotel, which is usually quite expensive, is right across the road from the venue. I was so ecstatic that I danced around shouting, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” I am truly, grateful to the Universe and God for blessing me with this fantastic gift.
