Blue Rug And Free Parking.

United StatesI am from Massachusetts and I had been out of work for months. I had gotten some short temp jobs but nothing steady.
I had been out of work for almost a year. I had some temp jobs here and there but nothing steady that I could rely on and it was quite discouraging. I had recently listened to my CD of “The Secret” again and this time I decided to listen with my whole heart and soul. I decided I wasn’t going to settle for another dead end job so I sat down and wrote out exactly what I wanted from a job. I wanted a good commute not too far away. I wanted a company that was friendly and supportive. The job itself would be challenging, keep me busy and be steady. I wanted to get back to an office atmosphere with a cafeteria in the building and also free parking. The building itself would have glass and a glass door and there would be a reception desk to check into to get a badge. There would be a stair case as well as an elevator. The last thing I wanted just so I would know that this was my dream job was that the carpeting would be a dark blue. It might start out as a temp job but would very quickly become a permanent job. It also had to have free parking.
Well, one day I got an offer from an agency to go in for an interview. I went in thinking that this will be the last job interview that I’ll ever have to go on again because I will get this job. Well, when I showed up for the interview I immediately liked the glass and and it had a revolving door to boot. I went to the reception area and got a visitor badge and soon a very nice and friendly woman showed up and escorted me upstairs on the elevator talking all the way about the current opening. By the time we actually sat down to interview I felt like we were old friends. It was by far the easiest job interview I’d ever been on and as I left the building I looked back and noticed that the rug was a dark blue design. Well, the next day I got a call from my temp company and they told me that the company wanted me to start in a couple of weeks. I said yes and I knew that this was the job I’d written about.
Well, I’ve been working here for a couple of weeks now and yes they tell me that it’s a temp job for now, but I know in my heart of hearts that this is my forever job and I will get hired permanently. I’ve already pictured me ten years down the line and I’m still happy working here. I believe in me and I believe in the Universe and I believe in The Secret.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Oh, by the way, the parking was free also in a parking garage right next to the building.
