About six or seven years ago, a friend introduced me to The Secret through a DVD. I bought The Secret book, started reading it later that year, and quickly became engrossed. The more I read, the more I felt like the book was speaking directly to me. I was convinced that this was the way I was supposed to live my life. As I read the book in my work cafeteria, my co-workers encouraged me to continue and found it very inspiring. This motivated me even more to finish reading The Secret. I became obsessed and did my best to follow the book’s suggestions.

I created a vision board with pictures of my future goals, such as getting married, helping my stepdaughter move to the United States, having a baby, and owning a house.

Surprisingly, over the next few years, everything on my vision board came true. I got married two years later, and my stepdaughter successfully moved to the U.S. two years after that. We bought our first home together one year later, and right after that, I finally became pregnant. Then, my stepdaughter surprised us with the news of her pregnancy with twins.

This experience made me a firm believer in The Secret, and I have since applied its principles and even started creating a new vision board.
