My Biggest Dreams Came True In America.
Submitted by: Suhani
I deeply believe in LOA and try to stay positive, loving and thankful all the time. Life is too short to be wasted with bad things, better attract all the good things we can.
I have know The Secret since 2011, but it’s not the book that inspired me the most. One fine day, after lots of bad things happening in my life, I found out this website and began reading some stories. I was amazed and realized I was feeling so attracted to The Power. I bought it, understood it, and from then my life changed. In a 2 year period, lots of my dreams came true and I attracted so many beautiful things into my life.
1. I applied for a one year program at Walt Disney World, Florida. I was on waiting list, but I prefered acting as if I were sure I would go there. I was telling the few people who knew about my project that even if I didn’t have a leaving date at this moment, I would sure have one when the moment was right for me. I didn’t pay attention to what everybody was thinking about it. I inquired a lot about everything related to the job and the life there concerning WDW. I could even feel that I was already there. Exactly 6 months after my job interview, a job offer came, with the leaving date a few months afterwards. I have no words to describe my state of mind! I was so elated and I knew that even if I was not able to pay for the flight and all the extras at that moment, the Universe would do everything so that I could go there to work. I accepted the offer and of course, everything went for the best and I spent the most amazing year of my life working in the place where magic is everywhere.
2. There at WDW I discovered myself, my talents and what I want to do in my life. Before WDW, I used to work part time for several different kinds of jobs and I did not have fun while I was working. I discovered that I am an amazing sales representative and I will now achieve all my goals and dreams concerning my dream work. I am now looking for a new job since my year in Florida is over, and I know from the bottom of my heart that I will have the job I deserve and will be respected for who I am. I firmly believe it will happen pretty soon. I have always been ambitious but without any diploma related to my dream job. It doesn’t matter anymore, I have now understood that I can achieve what I want without that, thanks to my passion, my will and my talents.
3. I even attracted the craziest of my dreams, seeing my favourite stars live. A few months before my departure in the US, I saw that a famous Indian awards ceremony would take place in Florida during my stay. I was so amazed, I did not realize what was happening. My favourite stars were so close to my working place! I didn’t think about it twice and bought a ticket, even though they were very expensive, I did not care. I did not know how, but I would go and attend this ceremony, even if I didn’t know if I would be off that day. There were a few obstacles coming up, but I strongly wanted to go and decided to go against all. I needed to exchange my days off with somebody and at the last minute somebody offered me one of her days off so that I could go. Even my manager encouraged me to call in for a personal day because it was the biggest dream of my life! This evening was absolutely magical! I happened to see so many big names. The show lasted 5 hours and it was full of happiness, dances, drama and amazing moments. I am truly blessed and so thankful to have been there! I was meant to go there! I mean, every year this event happens in a different city and in a different country, and this time it was in a country that isn’t mine but where I was working for a year! Life is really amazing.
4. I made other dreams come true, like traveling a lot and to places I didn’t think it would be possible with my small salary. I swam with a dolphin! Somebody helped me financially when I was in need without asking for a refund. I met amazing people during the whole year, some of them showed me how much they believed in me. I have a friend that I will keep all my life. Every time I did not have enough food or was missing something, somebody would offer me their food or other stuff. I was living in total happiness and it attracted only good things for me. The list would be too long if I said all the things I have been blessed with.
Now, I am about to begin a new life. Sometimes it is not that easy to have faith, you tend to be depressed when things go wrong. I’ve also been there and at times I lost faith, but I was determined to make only good things come my way, just like in the past two years. I have gotten almost everything I have wished for and it’s only the beginning. I am sure everything will be OK and I will be able to write a new story before the end of the year. I will have a new job that will make me happy and provide me so much money and I will be living in a new city with the man I want in my life. I also have The Magic, the book that taught me how to be truly grateful.
Never lose hope, always have faith. Life is great and you just need to think about what you really want. Ask for it. Let it go (the hardest part) and you will surely receive it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all these wonderful things that have and are happening to me.
