I first found out about The Secret a year and a half ago, and it worked for me a few times. I’ve submitted another story on here (I can’t remember the name), but it was about me wanting to go see Lady Gaga at a concert. I kept telling myself I’ll be going, but I didn’t even look up when the tickets are going on sale.

One random morning my friend came up to me and said, “My dad has access to priority tickets to Lady Gaga and he said I can bring two friends, you wanna come?” I couldn’t believe it!! I didn’t put any effort into getting tickets but I still got one!! What’s even better is that we were second row from the stage!!! 😮 It was the best concert I’ve ever been to.

Now another big thing happened. I’m in my second last year of secondary school and I find maths really, really hard. At the start of the year our teacher told us that maths for SATs is like a new language, it’s that hard.

One day our teacher told us we have a big test coming up soon on everything we’ve done so far in the year. I was dreading it, but I said to myself, “I’ll use The Secret to get a great mark.” So from then on I kept telling myself, “I know everything we’ve done so far in maths. I’ll get great results.” The maths test was due in about two weeks and I said I’d study during those two weeks. I’m a very big fan of procrastination however, and I kept putting study off til the next day.

On the night before the test, I forgot to bring my maths book home to study, so I had to sit the test without having done any revision AT ALL. But I kept saying to myself that I’ll do great in the test and get much better results than all my friends. I really did believe I knew everything there is to know about the maths course so far.

The next day all my friends kept saying, “Oh, I’m gonna fail this,” or, “I’m not ready for this at all,” but I just kept my mouth shut because I was certain I was gonna do great. So I sat the exam and I felt pretty confident. I guessed how to work out a few questions because I couldn’t remember how to do them. When the test finished, we were talking about it among our friends and I got different answers to the majority of them. I was starting to have a few doubts but I just kept repeating in my head I’ll get great results.

When the results came, I was almost the last one to get it back. I saw that all my friends were getting around 30% and 40%. Seeing as I got almost all different answers to them, I was really worried that I failed the test. When I got my test back, guess what percentage was written on it??? 82%!!!!!!! I was shocked!! But sooo grateful!! I was very proud. Not all because I got a great mark but because I knew it was The Secret that got me that 82%.

I’m very happy to know of The Secret and I’m gonna use it much more often now because it does really work!! 🙂
