I was first introduced to The Secret after watching a TV program. Bought the book and then the movie but had trouble staying positive since I lived on the negative.

After being unemployed for several months and trying to remain positive, I decided to apply for a job that although I had customer service experience (which was one of the requirements), I had no experience in this job field. After a few days I received a call to go in for an interview. I thought the interview was good and was told that they will call me if they decided to move forward. I decided that the job was mine and wrote down that I was happy and grateful now that I was hired, took a picture of it and set it as my wallpaper on my phone to keep reminding myself to be thankful.

After almost a week without hearing from them I decided to send a thank you note to the hiring manager. The next day I saw that he had replied to my email and without even knowing what it said I felt joy and was thankful. When I opened it he was thanking me for applying and said they decided to move forward with someone else. I didn’t get discouraged and kept saying that the person hired wasn’t gonna work out and they will call me. I even made a job offer letter.

Today, a few days after that email, while I was at another interview, I had a missed call from a number I didn’t recognize. I decided to call back since they didn’t leave a message. What a surprise when I called and found out it was from the job I was hoping for. They wanted me to come in for a second interview, yes, after that email.

Next day around 2pm I got the call I was hoping for, the job was mine and with the exact salary I had on my mock job offer letter.

Never stop believing and it will be yours.

My next goal is winning $20,000,000 on the lottery (Powerball). I know that I know that I know that the 20 million dollars are coming my way.
