I first heard about The Secret when I read Hulk Hogan’s autobiography. I am a big fan of his, so I looked ‘The Secret’ up online and decided to purchase the book.

As I read the book I had open mind and decided to make my own vision photo library on my phone, and looking at this every couple of days. My photos varied and they all had certain meanings like pictures of my family which made me happy, I wanted these things to continue. I also had pictures of things I wanted to achieve and others were items I wanted in my life.

Since I first read The Secret amazing things have happened that were on my list. I have got married, had a child, have the car I really wanted a few years before, moved to a bigger house (not the one in my picture), have good friendships and they are always ongoing, I met 2 of my childhood heroes; John Barnes and the man himself, Hulk Hogan.

Of course there are things that I have not quite achieved yet, like my dream job, but I have switched departments and now work a steady 9-5.30 instead of shifts. I have not won the lottery either and have even stopped doing it for now, but somehow I was able to win 3 competitions since then on facebook and twitter.

I have learnt to say thank you for everything I have and had and be grateful for what I have in my life.

I have since purchased the DVD and downloaded it on itunes to keep me focussed on The Secret and what it can do to help me in my life. I will make my vision board version 2 and set some new goals in my life. It works for me and I will carry on using it.
