It is true that the first time any battle is won or lost is in the mind. I have always been a dreamer even when I don’t see possibilities. One day I saw an inscription in the bank, ‘A dream is not a dream if it does not look impossible to achieve’. That reinforced my faith to keep dreaming.

I came across The Secret movie through a friend, watched it a couple of times without results because realities of life and my background was the exact opposite of my dreams. This led to depression, anxiety and worry.

However, few months ago, I found a close friend with a copy of The Secret book. After going through it I decided to get a copy. I checked The Secret website for the first time after reading the book and went on and got The Magic, The Power and I just got Hero recently. Now I don’t just pray but I have learnt to apply my Faith in the right way and trust in God.

I have achieved a couple of things on a daily basis since I started applying the right principle but I want to share something that happened two days ago. It’s about my trip to the U.S

I am so passionate about impacting lives through Public Speaking (it would interest you to know that I could not speak in public before now) and by the grace of God, I have done this within my present capacity. I have also always dreamt of meeting great achievers like John Maxwell, Tony Robbins, Les Brown and others. I have read their books, watched their videos but I always see myself meeting them physically, or serve under them, or partner with them to touch lives globally. About three weeks ago, I had strong passion to go to the U.S and meet some of these people. I created a vision board and started praying and believing for the opportunity. I even asked God for signs…I have so many signs and just two days ago I saw an opportunity to partner with John Maxwell’s team. I said, “This is it”. I quickly registered and within twenty-four hours, I got an email from one of the Top Leaders who has been assigned to work with me asking me for a time for us to talk.

I am already feeling the excitement because I know this is the beginning of actualization of my dream. I have made up my mind to attend the event in the U.S. in August where I will get to see John Maxwell physically. I am trusting God for the Visa and the money to make this dream a reality. I already have my Visa and my secret cheque for my flight ticket is on my Vision board. I am trusting God to share my story from the U.S because I know with God all things are possible.
