I have always believed in the Secret, but throughout life, you tend to forget it. And this book seemed to word it in such a way that really resonated with me and really put it into perspective for me. I was finally able to really apply the Secret, instead of just know it exists but not really making it happen for me. The first thing I did was to write out an order to the universe for love. I had been in so many horrible relationships and was on a downward spiral with this part of my life. I had just been in an abusive relationship and wanted to finally attract someone great. Within a couple of months, I found someone on an online dating site who met every single item on my order list. We are now engaged and he is the best person I have ever met and he is everything I could ever want in a partner. We together have begun to work on bringing money to ourselves. In the last year we both had decided that we were going to get unexpected checks in the mail and we both decided that we would get an unexpected $10,000 too.

Since then, I got a check in the mail for $1700 out of the blue as a class action settlement from a foreclosure I had done years before. He got a check for $3800 because a van he owned had not one but two parts on it recalled, so they just bought the van back! Then he, who had gotten laid off of his job prior to hearing the Secret, got several job opportunities in row until he finally got a job that paid much more than the job he had been laid off from. I had been working for a small company and was running their assisted living facility for them and decided that I wanted to manifest them handing me their company. I didn’t know how this would happen because I had bad credit and couldn’t buy it, nor did I ever hear of them wanting to sell it. After 6 months, my boss came to me to ask if I was interested in taking over ownership of the company with a lease to own option!! I was ecstatic! Then I really knew I was making the Secret work for me!.

Since then, My fiance has gotten his $10,000, within 2 months apart he got $8000 from his income taxes and $2000 from a profit sharing check from the job that he had previously been laid off from. The same time, I had gotten $10,000 almost to the dollar when I filed my taxes. This is way over the amount I usually get!
Another amazing thing that has happened since reading The Secret: I grew up an only child, with only my mom. My dad was never in the picture. He went on to have a son with his new wife. I had only seen my brother a few times in my life and the last time being over 20 years ago. I had no desire to meet my dad again, but had recently been curious about my brother and thinking it would be nice to see him again. Not a month later, his mom found me on facebook and since then we have been in touch!

My fiance also went through a bad custody battle where his ex-wife would not give him much time with his kids. Using the Secret, he is now having them 50% of the time!
