Hampshire U.K48 year old divorced mum of three. Great children, 18,16,14, living and learning to be grateful and happy on a daily basis. Had my share of troubles, personal and otherways. With a fantastic caring man who loves me for who I am and adores my children... Life is great if you just believe it to be.
My children and I work in advertising…
Yesterday my youngest daughter had a photo shoot in London, so we caught the train to Waterloo with my boyfriend and his daughter. We took with us a large beach bag of clothes, hair ties shoes and other accessories, as my daughter thought it best as back up for wardrobe for the photo shoot. The bag travelled with us on the train and into the studio, which proved useful as some clothes were indeed used.
Following what was a great shoot, and spending the rest of the day enjoying London, we caught the 20.35 London to Weymouth train home. An hour later we arrived at Winchester, our destination, where we got in our car for our short drive home, when my daughter said, Mum, the beach bag is on the storage shelf on the train!
I stayed calm, believing we were going to get it back. I dont know what came over me, I asked my partner to call South West Trains and we were told our best bet was to drive for 1hour 40 mins to Weymouth, where the train terminates. This may not sound that amazing, but the train was travelling for another 1hour and 30minutes after leaving Winchester.
My partner knew I had to get my other daughter from her waitress job at midnight, so he did the drive. I texted him and told him the bag would be there, I just knew it!!!!!!!!!!! We had to much in that bag to lose, and it just was not an option in my mind.
Forward 11.32pm, I get a call from my partner, barely able to speak. He got to Weymouth in record time, he said he does not know how or why the road was clear… I do!!!
A man was calling from the platform to a lady that she had left her large bright beach bag. Steve shouted that it was his, and when he went on to explain to the kind man our story, he was stunned, and said it was a miracle…………
WOW never will I doubt again. A very grateful and huge thank you to the Universe! : ) x
