I had been fat ever since I turned ten. I’m serious. And not only that, I experienced expression problems, self esteem issues, bad grades and somehow I always found myself a victim of bullying in school.

In class tenth I was tired of life and thought I might as well end it right there. My mother found me then. Communication between me and her had never been so good. She told me about life and dreams, and how much more I was worth than what I was putting my self through. I became fairly positive after that and magically, my dad brought home “The Secret” DVD.

I was amazed, bewildered and shocked. I hadn’t been investing love in myself at all! I realized the greatest power of life was belief! Pure unadulterated belief!

What happened after that was miraculous indeed! I started coming in the top-fives in my class, I lost 30 kg, I made the most wonderful friends ever! I am no more a rebel. I am beautiful, not because of my looks, but because of the character that I’ve attained because of this wonderful knowledge. I sure had a few doubts a time or two but overcame them very fast. The Secret gave my life a whole new meaning. Now instead of cribbing, I’m praising. Instead of self-pitying, I am helping people change their lives for the best! I’m in a job I adore, which is an intern in a school for deaf and dumb but incredible children.

And people, just remember one word – Believe.
