Hello everyone, this is my fourth story here!

So, I was born with naturally curly hair, and ever since I can remember, I hated it! I wanted to be like most of the other girls and have beautiful, straight hair.

From elementary to high school, I never took care of my curls. I would always tie my hair, brush it (yes, brush it), and did not wash it properly. But I never straightened it. As you can assume, my hair look ugly.

I was constantly cursing my hair, wanting straight hair. When I got into my freshmen year of high school, my hair barely looked curly, it just looked like tangled hair. I grew sad, looking at all the girls with beautiful straight and curly hair. I barely looked in the mirror, and my curls were pretty much disappearing.

The summer before sophomore year, I had had it. I was tired of seeing girls with beautiful curly hair. I had curly hair too, I could make my hair like that. I started watching a lot of curly hair routines, and how to take care of curly hair in general.

At the start of sophomore year, I learned how to take care of my curly hair and it looked good. But I was still envious of the other girls with curlier hair. I was envious and not grateful, and my hair would sometimes look good, and sometimes look bad. Whenever I would wear a jacket or hoodie, my hair would get extremely poofy.

Then near the end of the year, I found out about The Secret. I manifested many things, and I manifested having beautiful curly hair. I imagined myself having gorgeous curls, no matter what I did to it.

And lo and behold, it happened! I started being grateful, was gentle with my hair, and I now have beautiful, curly hair! I have gotten so many compliments from strangers and also from family members who had criticized my hair in the past.
