Be Genuinely Grateful For What You Have.
Submitted by: Mary A.
IrelandLiving the life of my dreams since reading The Secret and learning more about visualization and being grateful.
I saw The Secret a long time ago on Oprah. Thank you to Rhonda and to all who have brought The Secret to us, and for sharing it with the world.
I decided I wanted a new car. I knew exactly what I wanted. Every time I got into my car I would think this is not what I want and I was moaning to myself. Then one day, a friend who started reading The Magic reminded me about saying thank you and being grateful for what you already have.
I had let my car get in an untidy and filthy state on the outside. So one day without any thought, I just started to clean it. I realized how lucky I was. My car really has been wonderful, reliable, cheap to run and a pleasure to drive. Once it was clean and shiny, I thought that I already had the car of my dreams. I had forgotten about wanting a new one.
Guess what?
I was told today that I had won a brand new car. I won it from a ticket I had bought for a charity months ago and had totally forgotten about.
Be genuinely grateful. When you stop and take a few moments to be truly grateful it lifts your mood.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
