I was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of 39. The pain in my hands and feet were so bad that I had issues doing my daily work that I loved. I knew something was wrong so I went to the doctor. After several tests, my doctor told me I had Lupus.

I told my people about it and got mixed reactions, from support to being called a liar. All I knew was that I didn’t feel ‘right’ and I know what feeling ‘right’ is.

I had started to watch ‘The Secret’ every day during work and then read a chapter in the book each night before I went to bed. I started to believe that my body was healed from this ‘dis-ease’. I would wake up being grateful for my health. I would listen to my body and eat the foods it craved and the supplements I just ‘knew’ I needed. I listened to what I needed and not what others told me. As I would go for my walks, I would believe my body was healing as I walked each step.

Every day I felt less and less pain in my hands and feet. I was eventually able to go through my work day with zero pain, with zero pain killers. In one month, I no longer had Lupus. All my blood work came back negative for the autoimmune markers!!
