I first stumbled on The Secret in my first year of university and was touched by the concept of the law of attraction from the very beginning. My first copy of The Secret was the ebook, but I always wanted to have a hard copy. For about a year, I searched different book shops in my area for The Secret but I was not willing to spend too much on the book. I always checked the bookstores with the hope that the book would be on sale.

Two years went by and I was happy with my ebook, and then one day something almost magical happened. On my way to campus I walked past a second hand shop as I normally do every other day. I happened to see a stack of books on the floor and on the top was The Secret. I didn’t pay too much attention to it so I continued walking past the shop. Seconds later I couldn’t fight the urge to go back to the shop and enquire about the price of the book. To my surprise the book was dirt cheap and I bought it for close to nothing. I couldn’t believe what had just happened that day. The book was in great condition, the outer cover was just a little dusty.

This is not the first or the last thing I’ve manifested, but that’s a story for another day. My advice to others is to make gratitude a part of your daily life and remember that the Universe’s timing is the best timing.
