Attracting A Job.

First of all, thank you so much to The Secret team, and thank you to everyone who posts their inspiring stories here.
So 2 years ago I left a job and after that, I was looking for another one that I would really like. I applied for a lot of them but had no luck. And in these times of lockdowns and stuff, finding a job has been even harder. But I really wanted one as I wanted to go out, explore new things and meet new people.
Still, I was not sure about what specific job I wanted, as I love doing a lot of things. So since I was only looking for a temporary job, I just thought about how I would like to feel at my workplace. I do not like the office kind of environment so I listed things like having a free environment where I can listen to music while working, and having easy work, etc. So I just listed these things and let it go to the Universe.
Then one day my cousin’s sister calls me and tells me there’s a shop owner who is looking for someone with computer knowledge and who can do accounting, so she suggested me. I was actually a little annoyed because that wasn’t the kind of job I wanted but I still went for the interview anyway because I could not just say no.
I went and talked with the owner and I explained that this was not really my field, and to my surprise, he was very cool about it. I told him my field was Graphic Design and stuff. Then without me even asking him, he gave me the contact number of a photographer.
Long story short, I called the number and I got the job. The job is damn easy! It has fewer hours of work compared to the regular hours I would have to work in an office. I can listen to music. In fact, the sir himself asks me to play music while working and to turn the volume up. The environment is so free and comfortable, exactly how I like it. Also, sir himself makes tea for us every day. When the time is up we can just pack and leave and he does not even ask me for anything. It is so free and amazing. This is the best job anyone can get, especially during such times. I am truly grateful to get this job.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The lesson I learned from this story of mine was that I should always trust the Universe. Sometimes some things might happen that you might think are not what you asked for. And it may even annoy you a little. But you really do not know what lies ahead of it or how it will all play out. It may just be the very thing that you asked for, or maybe even better than you asked for. Just trust the Universe!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
