Attracted My Dream Ohana.

It’s kinda hard to begin my story, so I will start by saying that The Secret has been a part of my life since 2006. I kinda lost sight of it during the start of this year and I am not very proud of that.
I graduated in Dec. and had only a month to get a job. Although it was not the end of the road, it felt like it. I won’t get into the specifics but it was essential that I get a job by the end of the month or at best in 15 days! At first I could not even apply to 2 jobs properly, then I kinda picked the pace to applying for 50 per day. It got crazy, I kept on applying and applying and I didn’t get any interview calls from anyone. Only one which due to circumstances, I could not continue. I was in such a negative mindset. Thanks to my sister, she brought up The Secret because she wanted to tell me about a guy she was talked with.
His story and transformation inspired me and then I picked up on my old vibe and got it back in a few days!! I started with watching The Secret film again and was grateful every day. I did everything that felt good and made me feel loved, even when that included not applying for any jobs in the next 2 days! This was crazy, right? I did it anyhow.
I came across many viable leads and then a job posting that felt so right. I could feel it in my bones that this was made for me and I felt like the perfect person for it. I felt lacking at only one point but it could be learned and improved upon. This felt like a red flag and whenever it came up in my head I made sure that I did not give in to any negative feeling to it and I tried to be as neutral as possible.
I did feel a little scared regarding if I would be called to an interview and given a chance, but hey, back off, I would say. I did things like changing the wallpaper of my laptop screen with the company logo and wrote about the job and company in my experience section of LinkedIn!!! I did erase it but only after after printing a picture of it! I contacted people from the company and immersed myself in the culture and the work I would be doing there.
As per the famous quote by Joseph Campbell, “Follow your bliss and the Universe will open doors for you where there were only walls”, it happened!!! I got the call and the rest is history!!!! I can proudly say that I am a part of my dream ohana.
Moral? We really need to believe that the Universe is a friendly place and it always knows the best way for making our dreams come true. Follow our bliss. We should know that the things which are big for us are a tiny dot to the Universe. The biggest lesson I relearned was to relax and let go and follow my bliss.
