Asking Is Receiving!
Two months ago I was visiting relatives on the East Coast, and my nephew gave me The Secret as a gift, which I started reading on the plane.
I wanted to get home early to pick up my son by 3:30 pm, but my scheduled shuttle from the airport to my town was not arriving until 3:30pm!! I had got off the airplane at 12 pm and had to wait for my luggage, so all I kept doing was to picture myself getting my luggage and getting on the shuttle right after, and being at home at 3:30pm.
I must have really concentrated and asked with great belief, for when I got to the carousel, not only was the luggage not there yet, but there were also about 300 passengers waiting. Then all of a sudden, they announced that we switched to a different carousel, and as I approached it, my luggage was the third one to appear!!!
I was ecstatic!
But my shuttle was still not there. I knew the next one would come by at 1 pm so I kept on picturing the shuttle arriving soon, I almost went back into the airport and by the time it was 1:25 the shuttle arrived, and I told the driver I had a ticket for the 3:30pm one. She said not to worry, that I could get on that one and she would take me home, which she did in a record 1 hour drive!!!
Not only did I get home safe and sound but an hour sooner than what I had asked for!!!!!
I gave my son a nice surprise by showing up real early!!! Life was good!!!! I was amazed that all I did was ask with all my heart, and it happened.
