Ask, Believe And The Universe Will Make Sure You Receive.
Submitted by: Smruti
Dubai UAEEverytime life circumstances pull me down, the Universe helps me rise like a phoenix just by following the mantra - Ask. Believe. Receive.
I had planned to write this story in May 2015 and I’m writing it today on February 20th 2018 after witnessing the sheer magic of the Universe.
In May 2015 my father was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 prostate cancer. There is no stage 5 in cancer. I am his only daughter and during one of our phone conversations he expressed his last wish to experience being a grandfather. At that time I was bound by a job contract till April 2016 in Dubai.
I really wanted to fulfill my father’s wish but could not leave my job midway. That’s when I turned to the Universe to prolong my father’s life and wrote every single day 10 positive things about my father’s healing body. The physical comfort he receives during his treatments, the head full of hair which made him look handsome and every other thing that I wanted my father to receive during his chemotherapy sessions.
Miracle 1 was when my father was blessed abundantly by the Universe to ride his bike while taking chemotherapy. He never experiencing nausea, having a head full of hair throughout his chemotherapy. He was visiting crowded temples and having no infection or fever during the deadly chemotherapy treatment. I fully believe this was possible because I was constantly grateful for my father’s healing body and his ability to live as normal a life as possible. As a family we meditated, gave gratitude, visualised and generally tried to surround ourselves with good energy.
Miracle 2 happened when I got pregnant and went to be with my ailing father so that he could witness the birth of his grandchild and live to be a grandfather. This also happened despite various ups and downs during the journey. My father who was suffering from stage 4 cancer since May 2015 was able to see his grandchild on August 2016. Not only see him but also went on long walks, travelled together, played by the sea, fed him, sang lullabies to him and also celebrated his grandchild’s first birthday. From May 2015 I had constantly been imagining and visualising my child and my father bonding together and the Universe delivered yet again.
The medical reports were not favourable after the first chemo, but I persisted with the gratitude journal, visualisation techniques, and imagination. I believed that the Universe will prevail and my father would stay around to enjoy his grandparent life. While medical science kept asking us to give up, we persisted with The Secret.
Through this story I want anybody dealing with the impossible to know that your mind and the Universe together are far more powerful than every thought that exists in this world, keep your vibe always high.
PS. My father eventually lost his battle to cancer in October 2017, 3 months after my son’s 1st birthday. For me, I had only asked the Universe to make it possible for my father and my child to meet but the Universe in its absolute abundance gave us more than we asked for. Tomorrow is my father’s birthday and this is his story which I hope will be able to help someone else deal with their pain better.
Magic Dust on each one of you reading this!!!
