Twelve years ago after breaking up with my girlfriend at the time, she gave me a DVD called The Secret. She told me if I really wanted to level up in life, I needed to watch that DVD.
I was perfectly happy with my life. I did not feel like I had to improve on anything since my businesses were going well, and I was happy. At least I thought I was. So I just put the DVD in my top drawer with my socks and didn’t give it a second thought.

About a year later I was looking through my top drawer for something. I saw the DVD and thought; Oh well, let’s watch this and see what it is, after all, it’s been a year.

Back when I was 13, my uncle used to teach me things that he learned in seminars. Back then the seminar was called EST. He made me sit through hours of his lectures and I took everything in, but of course, I never put it into practice because, well, I was 13. So now here I was putting The Secret DVD into the player. That was the moment everything changed for me.

Everything my uncle had tried to teach me was in the movie, The Secret. When I saw all the experts and their testimony on how the law of attraction works, it was probably 40% confirmation and 60% new information.

I started applying The Secret to everything I did. I test-drove the car, and all I can tell you is that for the last 12 years, I have a new car smell all the time. I never had to buy a secondhand car again.

The students in my school where we teach vocal development began to improve weekly. We never acknowledged what went wrong, and only focused on what was going right. This made them evolve into what they desired to become much faster. In some cases, it was a better singer, but the side effect was always self-confidence. I needed more in the way of an explanation of how this was all happening. So I began to do research.

We found that what we were really doing was holistic healing through frequency, energy, and vibration, combined with velocity. This began to change the lives of the people we worked with. So much so, that we began to see miracles happen before our very eyes in the studio on a weekly basis. Sure their voice was good, but they also found their voice in life. It was so amazing that I had to tell the world about it. So I wrote a book called ‘The Universal Law of Attraction and Singing’. We dedicated the book to my ex-girlfriend because she gave the DVD to me. We also wrote a special thank you after the dedication to Rhonda Byrne.

We registered the method, Motivational Self-Development Through The Human Voice, and continued to focus on holistic healing. We hade developed over 7000 people in the past 31 years, but only in the last 12 have we had these kinds of results, thanks to The Secret.

While all of this was going on, my mother took me to a Feng Shui seminar. Like I was taught in The Secret, I acted on an inspired thought and started a consultant firm. We didn’t have to go seeking clients, at least not at first, because our first client came right through my office door. That client was a district manager for a large retail chain, and that national retail giant became our first client.

One by one, all my dreams began manifesting themselves, including my Waikiki Show, Radio, Television, and local performances, material things, relationships, and everything that we applied The Secret to.

People always ask me how was I able to achieve everything that I have so far. I always tell them that it started with the DVD of The Secret. Before that, I was not aware that life corresponds to me, I thought that life just happened to me.

Last year we decided to begin life coaching with the knowledge that we had acquired over the years because of The Secret and the experts featured on it. The results were amazing. We named our life coaching business ‘Here for you life coaching’. We began teaching on FaceTime and Skype. Our clients were very happy with the results that they received. With the kinds of affirmations, meditations, and guidance we provided, everything started working out for them. We always explain to them that this is not magic or voodoo. It is how the human being was created and they have the power to change their life at will, in any direction.

Through inspired thought, as we were taught in The Secret, we have built a family of service companies that continue to serve and inspire people daily. We have accounts on various social media platforms and have built out all of our companies on the Internet. During COVID-19, quarantine forced us to move our students and clients that we taught in person at our office, to FaceTime and Skype. This was a blessing. Now we do not need our office because everyone is used to the idea of being exclusively online. This has lowered our overhead and increased our quality-of-life as well as our business.

Through our practice of giving gratitude daily, writing affirmations, and meditation, as well as a few other techniques that we have learned along the way, we have not only survived in our businesses but thrived. All during a period of time where over 900 businesses have failed in our state of Hawai’i. If it had not been for The Secret, we would have probably ignored the inspired thought to build on the web. During COVID, we would have been distracted with fear and despair, but we know better.

God, source, the Universe, whatever you call the creator, is very real. You are a co-creator with that. You have the ability to take baby steps forward and watch life respond to you. Watch the doors open, become more aware of your life, and how it works. As we guide people through this knowledge, we see that life not only gets better for them but for us as well. Nothing in the Universe works in one direction.

The Secret will change your life. Learn it, practice it, and teach it to your children. It doesn’t matter what the condition of the world is, or what the economy is, or what your neighborhood is, all that matters is that you change your mindset. Challenges always present themselves, however, with this knowledge of the law of attraction, you can face challenges easier and turn circumstances around to make them work for you. There are always two sides to everything.
