Hello The Secret,

The reason I decided to submit my story is because I think it’s a form of gratitude. To reveal a successful episode of my life may help others to keep believing in The Secret.

First of all, I was brought up in a very negative environment who was dictated by my father who was always skeptical about life. He was always saying “wishful thinking”, “money is for greedy people” and always complaining about having “no money.” The Secret and Napoleon Hill’s Think And Grow Rich has definitely turned my life around. I moved out of my house and everything changed entirely for me.

Here’s a gist of how The Secret has helped me… I was basically $30,000 dollars in debt because of my credit card and I was out of a job. My lighting consultancy company wasn’t doing very well. However, since 2006 I have been wanting to get into the oil and gas industry.

Banks and debt collecting agencies had been calling me everyday for the money, and I felt embarrassed to even answer the phone call. Everyday I prayed to God and also applied The Secret in my prayers. I kept asking Him please give me a solution to my debts.

One day, I was hanging out with my friends, and one of them was in the oil and gas industry and I never knew it because we’ve always been the “party” kinda friend. Randomly, he offered me a part time job as a business development manager in his company. I was so shocked because I have been wanting to learn about this industry in ages, and as a bonus, I will be getting a fixed salary income whilst my consulting company is still striving.

Everyday, I kept saying thank you to God, thank you to everyone that was there for me when I was down. Applied every single gratitude that was mentioned in The Secret.

One day, the unexpected angel (my friend) called me to a meeting and said, “I know you have loads of financial problems, here’s the total amount of your debt. Please go clear your name from the blacklist and you can clear your debt with me after you get your first contract..” I was so shocked and I was so grateful.

Never a day I miss to thank God and now I am also his business partner in the oil & gas industry. One thing I know, “never forget the people who have helped you, and whoever has wronged you, forgive them..”
