Hello everyone!

First I’d like to thank Rhonda Byrne for this blessing. For opening my eyes to who I used to be, for giving me positive feelings and letting go of all the negativity that I had brought to my life in the past years. This is who I am: the person who smiles no matter what happened, that always thought of the positive things in life. I can honestly say I feel more alive now than I have ever felt. One of my wants in life is to help people in need (to put a smile on someone’s face, to let them know someone is thinking of them!), no matter what.

Well, the last two weeks I came down with a bad infection so I’ve been home resting. My brother called me to ask if I could bake something for a bake sale he was having at school the next day. I didn’t ask what it was for. So after resting all day I had a little energy, so I did it. He said anything would do, so I baked cookies, brownies, cupcakes, chocolate-covered apples, and pretzels. To my surprise he had called me to thank me for all I did for him and his classmates. He told me I helped them raise $395.00 to buy Christmas gifts for the veterans who don’t have anything, the ones that are forgotten. My eyes filled up with tears of joy. Not only did I get what I was asking for, but it came to me without me even knowing. And that is a great feeling.

To someone who is reading this: you might think this is no big deal, but for me I believe that just a smile can say a lot. To make someone feel like someone is thankful for them no matter who they are. I hope this story helps you believe. Life is wonderful. Sometimes we focus too much on what we don’t have and what we want. We don’t realize the things that truly make us happy. Hope everyone has a wonderful day, and can feel the love that is there for them.
