I would like to start my story from a little context. I learned about The Secret around 9 years ago. Ever since that time I had been trying to understand how it worked. I browsed many websites and read a lot of books but I was not able to get how it works. Approximately a year ago I was redirected to this website and your stories helped me more than any book I had ever read.
So recently I was planning to go and visit my fiancé who lives in another country. I submitted all my docs for the visa 3 weeks prior to the departure and had no worries that I would get it in time. So one week passed and no news. This is when I started to worry. By the end of the second week and one week before departure, I received an email saying that it will not be decided until 3 weeks. That was a shock, it basically meant that I had to cancel my trip. I still was not able to believe it and I had hope. That was when I came back to this site, read some stories and tried to be confident that I would get it on Monday, a week before my departure. So I kept telling myself that I got it and being thankful for that.
On Monday I had not received any news which was a little frustrating but I let it go and I kept telling myself that all was good. Then on Tuesday when I was at work, I got an email saying that a decision had been made and I could come and get my documents. That was when I started to panic a little. Briefly I thought, what if I get rejected? Regardless of that I calmed done and I still kept hoping and believing. And, I got my visa in time!! Even though some of my friends kept telling me that it was not possible and I needed to change my plans, I was still confident that everything would work out for me.
I would like to say thanks to The Secret team and to those of you who submit your stories here. Trust me, I read so much about the power of thoughts and the law of attraction and only this site and your stories helped me to achieve my dreams! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
