I was laid off in March of 2020 because of the Covid crisis. Even just trying to apply for unemployment insurance was such a struggle! I was down in the dumps. Over the next 9 months I applied to at least 30 plus jobs with no results. In December I received a call from my mortgage company that my forbearance plan was about to expire.

I had a long and wonderful talk with the lady on the phone and she asked me if I had ever heard of The Secret. I told her that I had, but I had never pursued it. She shared with me some of her stories. One of them was as seemingly as simple as getting to work on time. She just could not manage to do it. She explained to me about the Universe, the law of attraction, changing the channel, the power of our thoughts, and all about gratitude. She began to apply these to her life with her first goal being to get to work on time, and it happened. She was awesome and gave me the shove I needed.

I went and got The Secret and began to read, absorb, and apply the principles. Then within just one week of reading and practicing just the first chapter of The Secret, something happened. I miraculously found a jump drive that had been missing for two years. This jump drive contained thousands of photos of everything I hold dear and I had been very distraught over never being able to find it. So, I had asked the Universe to return it to me. Within about a half hour of asking, a friend called me and told me he had my jump drive. It had been in the console of his truck for two years!

After 9 months of resumes, interviews and not being hired before reading The Secret, I had another interview right after reading The Secret. It was with a great little company that felt like home to me. And was hired! With a salary that was more than I had ever made in my life!

I received an unexpected check in the mail for $268. I received a letter about an uncashed check from 2016 that is going to be re-issued. I had some medical testing done for something I was sure was a problem and all the tests came back negative. It was not for Covid, although that test was negative also. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am ecstatic. I am so very grateful to the gal I spoke to who continued the hold on my mortgage for me for another three months. But I am really, really thankful to her for telling me about The Secret. This was my second chance, she offered it to me graciously and I took it. I am so grateful for the knowledge of the power I hold within myself to change my life and to someday change the lives of others.
