Almost immediate proof this works

EnglandLiving a happy and positive life with my gorgeous husband and our young family.
I had just discovered ‘The Secret’ some weeks back. First, I bought the book, then I downloaded and watched the movie on line. I wanted to put all this theory to the test. So I started to visualize that I was driving a new car.
Now, I didn’t actually need a new car. We had a very reliable family car, but it was starting to show it’s age at 13 years. The sun roof wasn’t working properly, spots of rust were appearing just around the wheel arches. But this car had never let me down, so I had vowed to keep it until it died its natural death.
However, if I was going to test this new philosophy, I needed to visualize something. So I thought, okay, it would be quite nice to have a new car and it’s not something I have the resources to purchase at the moment, so this will make a good test.
For a few minutes a day, I would close my eyes and visualise I was driving a different car. I could see and feel my hands around a black steering wheel and I could see a black dashboard in front of me (our current car had a grey interior). I allowed myself to imagine and feel the satisfaction of having purchased a new car.
Within just a few days of this visualization process, the heating system seemed to go in to over drive on my current car. A trip to the mechanic brought bad news. The head gasket had gone and various other problems were coming to light. It was recommended to me that because of the age of the car, it was not worth going to the expense of putting everything right.
I was a bit upset at this news. This car had never let me down before, and where was I going to find the money to get another one? Then I stopped the negative worry building up inside of me and just thought, wait a minute, I’ve been visualizing a new car. There was no way I was going to splash out on a new one whilst I still had this one. I immediately accepted that the demise of my current car was part of the process of obtaining my new one and that I would have to trust that the finances would also come.
My husband and I started car shopping. We looked at a few used cars in showrooms and inquired about finance deals. We’re raising a young family, and like a lot of couples with young kids, we have to watch the pennies carefully. My husband wasn’t comfortable with the high monthly repayment figures being quoted. And we didn’t have a few thousand sitting around just to purchase a car with. But I held on to my belief that it would happen. After all, I visualised this and it was already unfolding!
Within another day or so, a letter had arrived from my mortgage company. When my husband and I got a new mortgage on our home a few years back, because we were able to put down a large deposit then, the bank gave us something called a ‘mortgage reserve account’, which was basically a few extra thousand to use as we wished at any time, and we would only be charged the same low interest rate as our mortgage. I completely forgot we had this facility and out of the blue, the bank were writing to us three years later to remind us that we had this facility and would we like to use it?(!)
The amount we had available was £3,100 (about 6,200 US dollars). The cars we had been looking at were all around this price. I did some calculations and then double checked my figures with the bank. It seemed I could use this money, with immediate effect, and the repayments were a fraction of the lowest car finance deal we were offered.
So here we are, in less than a week of my visualisation, my current car suddenly dies its natural death, and the money appears for a new one. But that’s not all.
Remember I said we were looking at cars for around the £3,100 mark? We went to the bank to transfer the money from my mortgage account to my current checking account. As we were doing this, I suddenly remembered that my husband needed £400 ($800) for some outstanding debts. I told him I wanted to transfer £400 to his bank account before putting the remaining £2700 in to mine. He protested, saying I needed that to purchase the car I wanted. I told him, for £400, I’ll go in to overdraft.
The next day I took my ten year old daughter out with me to test drive the two cars I had narrowed it down to. On our way to test driving the second car, I decided on a whim to walk past a showroom I had visited a few days before but had nothing I wanted. Well, we walked past this showroom and in the window I saw a bright red (my favourite colour!) 4 door Vauxhall Astra, and I knew it was exactly what I wanted. So I went in the shop and made an appointment to test drive that one later in the day. I went and test drove the other then came back to the red Astra. I knew as we walked back to the showroom and before I even drove it that this was the car I was going to buy. When I eventually arrived and sat in the driver’s seat I noticed it had a black interior, black steering wheel and black dashboard, exactly as I had visualised in my short meditations! When I took it out for its test, I found it drove better than the other two cars I had tried, yet the garage were asking less for it. £2,500.
I bargained, got the car for £2,200. By the time I purchased the new annual insurance, bought the year’s road tax and filled the tank with petrol, I had spent just under £2,700. The exact amount that I had left from the mortgage reserve after giving my husband some money.
So let’s recap. I start to visualise a new car for myself. My old car immediately decides it’s reached the end of its road. My mortgage company very shortly after this writes to me to remind me that I have £3100 I can use at very little cost. I decide to buy a car for this amount but at the last minute, give my husband £400 pounds of it. Then on my way to test drive the two cars of which one of them I was sure I was going to buy, on a whim I decide to walk past another showroom and see the car I know I want. When I get inside it, it’s the only one I’ve looked at that has the exact interior I visualised. And the whole purchase to get the car on the road costs me the exact amount I was left with after I gave my husband some of the funds.
I love my new car. And I love that I got such fast proof that ‘The Secret’ really is this easy. So I’m now visualizing receiving a cheque for £1 million pounds. I’m going to keep you guys posted………….
