Admission To My Dream College.
Submitted by: Dream girl
IndiaI'm a 22 year old girl who believes in herself and the Universe!!
First of all, I would like to thank each of you for posting your stories and motivating me each day and every day. Each person’s story inspires me to belive in the Universe, one way or the other. I am really thankful for that.
So, starting with my story. I wanted to study in India’s top college to pursue my master’s degree, but this year, out of nowhere, the college scrubbed its entrance exam and added a new paper pattern. This new paper pattern was completely different from the old one. New subjects were included, a new marking scheme was added, and the most difficult part was the exam was postponed.
I was completely devastated by all of this. I still remember I told my mom that I did not think that I could get into my dream college and that maybe I should take a gap year. But my mom told me to never give up, to believe in myself, and to trust in the process no matter what the outcome was.
So I started preparing day and night. I missed family functions, missed hanging out with friends, and listened to taunts and stuff like, “The cut-offs are very high. You can’t get in easily.” But I truly believed in myself and the Universe and I could easily imagine that I got admitted into my dream college. I started visualizing every day and night. I did the gratitude practice, and I used different techniques like 555 and 369.
So, the exam day came, and I wasn’t nervous at all, nor did I have any doubts. The exam went really well. I could clearly see that I had cleared the cutoff, and I answered almost every question right. I was truly happy.
After a month, the results came out, and I had scored 261/300 on my exam, so I was eligible to get into any top college. My parents were so happy and proud of me. I got a call from my dream college for the interview, and the interview went really well. Then, finally, I got an acceptance letter from my dream college. I can proudly say that I am doing my master’s at my dream college. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Words can’t do justice to the efforts and dedication I have given to clear this exam. My parents and my friends have been great supporters of me throughout this journey. Thank you so much to them. I am really grateful and blessed to have such lovely family and friends beside me.
And lastly, I want to give my never ending thanks to the Universe who truly believed that I could do it, and was always looking out for me from above. The Universe was always listening to my prayers and was there when I needed it the most. Thank you so much from the core of my heart.
I want to tell you guys that you should never, ever give up on your dreams. Stand firm, hold onto your dreams, and do not let anyone else tell you that you can’t do it. Believe in yourself and believe in the Universe.
