First of all, I would like to thank Rhonda, her team, and all of you for your amazing stories!

I submitted a story on this site 3 or 4 years ago. Well, there were times when I totally forgot about The Secret and started being negative and pessimistic. A few months ago, I decided to give it a try again!

Well, the thing I really desired was a summer job in a specific place here in Greece. I watched The Secret movie and read all the books, and I placed my order with the Universe.

However, I was anxious. Due to the economic crisis we were experiencing in Greece, it was so easy to think in a negative way. Nevertheless, I decided that I wouldn’t let this situation affect me. I was sure that I would be offered a job! So, I made a list of all the things I had to take with me. I cleaned my suitcase, and I placed my things in my room in a way that it would be easy to place them in my bag without forgetting anything. I cleaned and folded all of my clothes so that they were ready! I made sure that my actions and my environment wouldn’t contradict my wish!

A lot of days passed, and still nothing. But I would not give up. Every single day, I wrote down all the things I was grateful for, as well as all the things I wanted. It was five days later that I decided that I should just let it go and not get anxious.

I’m happy to say that I did get that phone call. It was from the owner of the place where I had wanted to work. I have known this lady for four years, and that day, she offered me a job!!!

To all of you who struggle with money, life, or relationships, the only thing I would suggest is to be grateful for everything: your eyes, your health, electricity, family, clothes, shoes, even the slightest amount of money!! Be grateful and let it go! Relax and live each moment!! Believe me, it works!!
